Inazuma Eleven Go 2 takes place right after the Holy Road games. The hero Matsukaze Tenma is back from teaching kids soccer in Okinawa. However, when he returns to Raimon junior high, the soccer club is gone. It isn’t disbanded, the students told him that the club didn’t exist in the first place. In this alternate time frame, his friends, and Matsukaze himself, were recruited into other clubs. To revive the club, Matsukaze has to face the mysterious boy Alpha, who claimed that he is going usurp soccer from Matsukaze’s life completely. Recruit different characters, face different foes and summon different avatar beasts in Neppu and Raimei. Even the theme songs of these two games are different.
